M. Omkar Nath, Chief Executive Officer
Omkar is an electronics engineer and an educator with a specialization in experiential education. He brings with him a wealth of social entrepreneurship experience having founded and headed organizations such as Silikon Innovations, Vidhya Foundation Practice School, Etch Bricks, and The Code School. Omkarnath is passionate about social innovation, sustainable development, rural development, and trekking.
Pavan Kumar GS, Co-Founder
Pavan is an Ex-mechanical engineer and Full Stack Developer with rich experience in engineering and technology. He has led several critical tech projects, headed operations at a food & beverage company and handled operations & maintenance of a key project while working for the Government of Telangana. Pavan is passionate about entrepreneurship, digital inclusion, education, technology, astrophysics & science fiction.
Thrilok, Co-Founder
Thrilok is a tinkerer and currently working as a lead blockchain developer with Instadapp, has won national-level hackathons, has led development of several tech projects and has been featured in articles for his inspiring journey as a young innovator.
Alahari Virinchi, Lead Designer
Virinchi is a current student and student ambassador at Digital Equity. He is pursuing his final year of engineering and was part of the Technology Entrepreneurship Programme at Indian School of Business (ISB). Virinchi has worked on several tech projects including developing a humanoid robot and an olfactory alarm for the deaf.
Ved Vardhan, Associate
Ved is an alumnus of Digital Equity, where he studied robotics and web development. Ved has participated in hackathons, developed apps and won MIT app inventor of the month Jan 2019. Ved has also hosted the SOI Hackathon 2020.
Chandrakant Sharma, Associate
Chandrakant is an associate at Digital Equity. He is a quick learner with incredible research skills. He played an active role in developing Digital Essentials content, mentoring students and training the mentors. He is a coding enthusiast. He has started learning web development and hopes to enter the blockchain industry.
Adithi, Associate
Adithi is a computer science engineer with an experience of working with children. She is a people's person with great managerial skills and has lead various programs under Digital Equity.
ADVISORY TEAM
Abhimanyu Sarkar
Abhimanyu has more than 10 years of cross-industry experience and has been a former consultant with KPMG, led senior management roles in the social, education and ed-tech sectors, has been a visiting faculty at some of India’s leading colleges and has served on the board of Symbiosis Centre for Management Studies. Abhimanyu is passionate about entrepreneurship, impact investing, digital inclusion & transformation, positive psychology, meditation and food history. Abhimanyu has studied nonprofit management from Harvard Business School.
